Project 21's Deneen Borelli Graces Cover of June Newsmax Magazine

Deneen Borelli, a fellow with the National Center's Project 21 black leadership network, is one of the people featured on the cover of the June issue of Newsmax magazine.

Newsmax's cover story is all about the tea party movement. Deneen was selected as one of the faces of the movement, along with Sarah Palin, actor Jon Voight and CNBC business editor Rick Santelli. She -- along with the Reverend C.L. Bryant and Lloyd Marcus -- are said to "reflect the movement's ongoing effort to diversify."

Later in the same article, Tom Borelli -- Deneen's husband and director of the National Center's Free Enterprise Project -- notes about the people who comprise tea party movement in general: "They know how much territory they have lost in liberty and freedom. They know it is going to be a long battle, but they are prepared. The tea party leaders I've met... are very committed and energetic."
