Deneen Borelli on Congressional Cop-Outs and Controversy

Calling the debt-related congressional “supercommittee” a “super cop-out,” Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli says that the entire concept of a special committee is little more than an attempt at “shifting blame” away from the entire legislative branch failing to do its job.  Deneen cited her own work on a Tea Party-related debt commission that was able to find significant spending cuts.  Also, Deneen calls reports of lawmakers engaging in what many consider to be insider trading is a “ridiculous” situation.  “Why can’t they abide by the same rules” as everyone else, she questions.  This discussion with co-host Heather Childers and Fox News contributors Andrea Tantaros and Lis Wiehl was part of the 11/19/11 edition of “America’s News Headquarters” on the Fox News Channel.
