Deneen Borelli Discusses Budget Impasse on Fox News

In a discussion about the possible political repercussions of the current budget impasse on Capitol Hill and its potential to cause a government slowdown, Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli called the unwillingness of liberals to substantially cut spending an act of “gross negligence.”  Deneen pointed out that the leadership of the last session of Congress was obsessed with imposing unpopular programs such as cap-and-trade and Obamacare while the American people were “concerned about spending and the debt.”

This debate was featured on the 4/3/11 edition of “Fox and Friends” on the Fox News Channel.  Joining Deneen and co-host Clayton Morris is political strategist Krystal Ball.
