The Truth About Oil Subsidies

Big surprise: The left doesn't know what it's talking about when it comes to alleged oil industry "subsidies."

Randall Hoven at American Thinker has specific facts about the tax breaks and subsidies the oil industry actually receives.

As a companion to his piece about subsidies, breaks and profits, I recommend as a companion piece the short video we posted last week about oil industry profits, and where they actually go.

Interesting that the left screams bloody murder about supposed "cuts to the elderly" if we even mention the possibility of raising the Social Security retirement age for future retirees to make the system more solvent, but if granny gets a nice return on a few shares of oil stocks she owns, or the institution from which she receives a pension invests in oil, she's evil.
