Borelli: Morgan Freeman's Tea Party Accusation "Utterly Outrageous" and "Dangerous"

Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli responds to an accusation made by entertainer Morgan Freeman that tea party opposition to President Obama is “racist.”  Deneen, a frequent tea party speaker, says tea party opposition to Obama is due to the President’s policies and not his skin color.  Furthermore, for Freeman to make an explosive accusation of this nature is “utterly outrageous,” and it is “dangerous” for the President and his supporters to seek to exacerbate racial tensions as a means to “whip up the base” and regain political momentum for the Obama agenda.  This interview with Martha MacCallum was broadcast during the 9/26/11 edition of “America’s Newsroom” on the Fox News Channel.
