Project 21 fellow Deneen Borelli calls President Obama’s recent address to the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation’s annual conference — in which he exhorted attendees to “stop complaining” and “put on your marching shoes” on his behalf — “rude and condescending.”  While Representative Maxine Waters (D-CA) has publicly expressed her displeasure with Obama, Deneen notes Waters and the CBC are not complaining about substantive things and are still largely following Obama’s lead on policies that are not helping bolster the American economy and seem to be particularly debilitating in black communities.  This interview with “Follow the Money” host Eric Bolling was broadcast on the Fox Business Network on 9/26/11.
